Participation in the Educational Activities of the Museum of Byzantine Culture 2026–2027

For the school year 2026–2027, the Museum of Byzantine Culture invites primary and secondary school teachers to participate in the educational activity:

“Museum Visit Cards” for students of the 5th and 6th Grade Elementary School, and

“Museum Visit Cards” for students of Secondary School. 

The cards are available in English.

• The activity is designed for one or two school classes entering the Museum at short time intervals.
• The activity is implemented by the teachers themselves.
• It offers an enjoyable, educational, and hands-on museum experience.
• The Museum provides all the necessary educational material required for the implementation of the activity.

Registration

• Secondary Schools (Gymnasia and Lyceia): Thursday, 1 October 2026
• Elementary Schools: Friday, 2 October 2026

Please note that the Museum of Byzantine Culture operates an electronic ticketing system.

After arranging your visit with us, you will need to book your tickets through the Hellenic Heritage website: https://tickets.hh.gr/

Information Meeting for Teachers

On Saturday, 10 October 2026, an information meeting will be held for teachers interested in implementing the activity “Museum Visit Cards”. During the meeting, the educational programme will be presented in detail through an interactive session.

To register, please email efourliga@culture.gr (please include your full name, school, and educational level).

For secondary education teachers, the meeting will begin at 10:00.

For primary education teachers, the meeting will begin at 12:00.

Participation in all educational programmes is free of charge.
