European Heritage Days:“The Architecture of the Museum of Byzantine Culture: Drawing Inspiration from the Past into the Present”

As every year, the Museum participates in the celebration of the European Heritage Days by organizing a thematic tour. The title of this event is “The Architecture of the Museum of Byzantine Culture: Drawing Inspiration from the Past into the Present”, during which an attempt will be made to convey the vision of the Museum’s architect, Kyriakos Krokos, who combined ideas and materials from the past with contemporary forms and materials, achieving a dialogue between past and present in his creation.
