The Museum of Byzantine Culture, in the frame of its parallel cultural events and of the presentation to the public of Greek, internationally renowned, musicians, invites you cordially to the classical guitar recital of Yannis Andronoglou, which will be held on Sunday, 15 March 2015, at 12.00, in the auditorium “Melina Mercouri”. The concert program includes works by the Italian composer Carlo Domeniconi, influenced by the music of the East and works of Yannis Andronoglou, inspired by Greek folk music. Yannis Andronoglou is a graduate of the classes of V. Valavani (guitar degree) and K. Cotsiolis (soloist diploma). Moreover he is a graduate of the Department of Music Science and Art, University of Macedonia and has a Masters Degree (Magister Artium-Gitarre) from the Mozarteum-Salzburg University (Prof. Matthias Seidel, Mag.art. Marco Tamayo). He has been awarded National and International Guitar Awards and has been described by the Italian press as an "absolute master of the technique" and as an "agile, dynamic and passionate performer who knows how to innovate" by the American magazine Soundboard.
The musicians Alexandros Bletsos (violin) and Dimitris Dakas (bedir) will also play in the concert.
