Proceedings of the international one-day conference entitled “The Occupier’s gaze: Athens in the photographs of the German soldiers, 1941-1944” in the framework of the exhibition “The Occupier’s gaze: the Athens of the German occupation in the photographic collection of Byron
Metos”. It was organised by the Directorate of Modern Cultural Heritage in collaboration with the Museum of Byzantine Culture and the Anthi tis Petra Association of Friends of Traditional Architecture that was held in April 12th, 2019 in the Acropolis Museum Auditorium.
