Temporary change in opening hours due to works

As part of the New Year’s celebration and the accompanying events of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, the Municipality will be performing an artistic lighting of the White Tower.
Due to the installation work of heavy equipment and for the safety of visitors, we inform the public and visitors of the White Tower that it will not be possible to enter the monument on Monday, 29/12, from 08:30 to 10:00 a.m. and from 16:00 until the end of operating hours.
Also, due to the removal work, for the same reasons, the White Tower will remain closed to the public on Saturday, 3 January 2026 from 08:30 to 11:00 a.m.
