The Museum of Byzantine Culture hosts part of the photographic exhibition of the Municipality of Morphou.

The exhibition, which has been presented in Athens, in Slovenia and in Great Britain, consists of photographic panels (60 X 80 cm.). They have been chosen 36 panels, which show Byzantine and post-Byzantine churches in Morphou in their today’s condition, namely after the Turkish invasion in 1974.

The photographic exhibition constitutes a parallel event of the temporary exhibition “The Honour to saint Mamas through the Mediterranean. A Border saint travels”.
