In the Cave: Stories from Darkness to Light

The Museum of Byzantine Culture is participating in the new temporary exhibition hosted at the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki, titled “In the Cave: Stories from Darkness to Light”, by lending two objects from its collections: an icon of the Descent into Hades and an engraved copper plate depicting Christological scenes. The exhibition is co-organized by the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki and the Ephorate of Palaeoanthropology and Speleology.

Exhibition duration: May 15 – December 31, 2025.
