Printed Gospel

The elements of the publication are noted in its frontispiece. It was published by Nicholas Glykys in 1671, in Venice, where it is known that he had founded a printing and editing house. The Gospel constitutes a later publication of an earlier gospel which was printed by Antonio Pinello in his personal workshop also in Venice in early 17th century. As noted in the title, the present publication is corrected with great care and is dedicated to Meletius, Archbishop of Philadelphia and revered Legate of the Patriarchal Throne.
