The sixteen participating artists with diverse visual expressions (paintings, installations, videos, objects, and digital works) develop contemporary ideas of the field and what it can point to in the contemporary context. At the same time, reference is made to timeless historical examples of works that refer to the concept of the kampos or the field.\r\nA Byzantine icon of ca. A.D. 1400, donated by Irini Andreadi to the Museum, operates as an introduction to the exhibition and to the notion of the Byzantine background.\r\nDuring the exhibition a scientific meeting, related
