The exhibition is a production of the group f14-Photographers\u2019 Commune, which also had the curation of the exhibition.\r\n\r\nSome words on the exhibition by\u00a0<strong>Fotis Paleologos,<\/strong>\u00a0art director of the group:\r\n\r\n<em>One hundred years after the birth and rise of the expressionism movement, we attempt to create images inspired by expressionism, using photography \u2013 which has evolved on a utopian level \u2013 as a medium. Images that convey that atmosphere through modern day elements. Images with intense, heavy, pessimistic shadows. Images with explosions of colours. Images that are almost never joyful, that express the artist\u2019s deeper emotions, that create an agony.<\/em>\r\n\r\n<em>History running its circles and bustling Europe with huge current issues \u2013 financial issues, the rise of extreme political ideologies, the refugee crisis \u2013 bring to mind the fundamental elements of expressionism. We witness the counter-representations of a modern world repeating mistakes and practices of the past.<\/em>\r\n\r\n<em>The result is images of neo-expressionism. Images that borrow elements from last<\/em>\r\n\r\n<em>century\u2019s movement in an attempt to express our era.<\/em>\r\n\r\n<strong>\u201cMan screams<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>From the depths<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>Of his soul.<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>Our entire era<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>Is one unique<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>Piercing scream.<\/strong>\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>Art<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>Screams too.<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>In the deep<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>Dark,<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>It calls for help,<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>It calls for spirituality.<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>That is<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<strong>Expressionism.\u201d<\/strong>\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>Hermann Bahr,
